Biography
submitted to Richmond's elections office by the candidate
I am running to be the Mayor of Richmond, because I love Richmond. It is the city that I grew up in, where I am raising my family, and where I have served on Council for the past 12 years.
As a two-time Olympian, a CPA, CA, a mom and a City Councillor, I have always strived to be the best I can be. As a CPA, CA my financial expertise uniquely qualifies me to look after your tax dollar with financial prudence and govern effectively.
I commit to:
• Ensuring safe communities.
• Building for the future–saying “yes” to large scale
federal and provincial infrastructure projects that
will attract businesses and provide our kids with
great job opportunities.
• Growing our agricultural sector, ensuring food
security for the region.
• Building homes families want and can afford to
raise their children in.
