Biography
With nearly 20 years of experience in human resources leadership, Susan brings a people-first approach to public service grounded in fairness, accountability, collaboration, and practical results.
Since being elected to Council in 2025, Susan has focused on strengthening transparency, improving communication with residents, and helping the community better understand important decisions and long-term planning, including the Official Community Plan.
Susan has a strong record of turning community priorities into action. She secured White Rock’s 2026 Age-friendly Communities Grant, bringing $25,000 in funding to support initiatives focused on housing, transportation, planning, and accessibility for seniors. She also established White Rock’s beach wheelchair program after years of the initiative being stalled, helping make the waterfront more accessible and inclusive for residents and visitors.
Her work continues to advance practical solutions around accessibility, safety, and community well-being.
Susan believes leadership is about listening to residents, bringing people together, and following through. She is committed to responsible fiscal management, ensuring taxpayers receive value for their money while making smart, practical investments that strengthen the community. Most importantly, she believes White Rock should be a city where everyone can participate, feel heard, and have a voice in its future.
