Biography

submitted to City of North Vancouver's elections office by the candidate

I am a proud indigenous of the Cordillera Autonomous Region of the Philippines, born and raised in Kalinga province. I graduated Bachelor of Arts Major in Philosophy at University of Santo Tomas and undergraduate of Law at San Beda University. We migrated in 1991.

My passion on social justice and human rights have urged me to pursue Criminology in Douglas College but being new to Canada and a working student has a toll on me. I worked and earned 22 years experience in payroll, staffing and human resources in unionized setting.

My commitment to you:

  1. TRANSPARENCY: I will be clear, honest, open and accessible to parents, staff and the community
  2. ACCOUNTABILITY: I will answer to the community through public hearing and independent audits
  3. STUDENT-CENTERED EDUCATION: I will put the students first to build autonomy, critical thinking and lifelong problem-solving skills
  4. SCHOOL SAFETY: I will protect students and staff from emergencies, violence and hazards

Help me get the vote and I will be your positive voice and force to be reckoned with on the school board table. Your trust in my commitment and our children are my priority.
