Mike Farnworth has proudly called Port Coquitlam home for more than 50 years. Raised in our community, he has spent decades serving British Columbians in a variety of leadership roles, including several senior cabinet positions, and most recently as Minister of Transportation.

A strong advocate for Port Coquitlam, Mike served three terms as a City Councillor before being elected MLA in 1991. Since then, voters have re-elected him six times.

Throughout his career, Mike has remained committed to the community he calls home. He understands local priorities and has always put Port Coquitlam first.

Whether championing strong public healthcare and education, improving transportation, protecting the environment, or advancing justice reforms, Mike has a proven record of delivering results for local residents.

The BC Conservatives may want to cozy up to Trump and cut the things British Columbians value, but Mike Farnworth, David Eby and the BC NDP have a plan: to stand up for BC and for Canada, to protect the services that people need, and to build the infrastructure and economy we need for a stronger future.
