Lisa Beare knows that British Columbians need a government that is willing to stand up for them. A mother to a young daughter, Lisa knows the challenges that families face first-hand, and she’s determined to take action to make life easier for them. That means investing in the services that families in Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows rely on, like building new schools and increasing access to healthcare.

Lisa has been fighting for people for over a decade. She got her start in politics in 2014 as a school board trustee. After being elected to the provincial government in 2017, 2020 and 2024, Lisa has served as a Cabinet Minister with portfolios including tourism, culture, sport and post-secondary education.

The BC Conservatives might want to cut services and cozy up to Trump, but Lisa Beare, David Eby and the BC NDP have a plan: to stand up for British Columbia, protect the services that families need, and build the infrastructure and economy we need for the future.
