My name is Senora Navales, long time resident of City of North Vancouver, and I am running for the position of School Board Trustee. I put my name forward because I believe every child deserves to learn, grow and succeed in a safe, supportive and inclusive school environment. Our school are the heart of our community and the decisions made by the Board of Education have a direct impact to the students, families, teachers and staff. The children are the future of our community, I will bring an open mind and willingness to listen and I am committed to work with the teachers, families, educators, staff and fellow Trustees. We need to plan for the future needs of our growing community.

My working experience as a Porter and Ward Aid at Lion's gate Hospital, I have been an active member of HEU, which I listen, support and advocate for my fellow workers, for safe and inclusive work place. I believe in working respectfully, towards fair and practical solutions, this has strengthen my communication and leadership skills.
