Benjamin Neff is running as an independent for Township of Langley Council. He has lived in the Township for the past decade and has been involved in the Langley community all his life, through minor sports, local community groups and his church. He and his wife are raising their young son in Murrayville.

Benjamin is principal of Hoftag Consulting, a Langley-based public affairs firm. For close to ten years he has helped families, businesses and community organizations work through government when it wasn't working for them at the federal, provincial and municipal levels. He knows the challenges businesses, residents, families, and landowners face every day. He helps them work through the process, solve problems, find solutions so that government isn't a hinderance but we can achieve better outcomes for individuals and the wider community. That work has given him a practical view of how local government decisions land on the people applying for them, and where the process can be made clearer without lowering standards. He holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Calgary.

Benjamin believes Langley's balance of farmland and a growing city is rare, and that it won't keep itself. He is running to help the Township grow with discipline, fund what it promises, and make its decisions easy for residents to follow.
