A resident of Langley for over 15 years, I am a proud mother of twin boys and two huskies, deeply invested in the long-term well-being and safety of the neighbourhoods we all call home. This profile reflects my commitment to listening, learning, and serving every corner of Langley with transparency and care.

My educational and professional journey has given me a unique combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, financial knowledge, and community leadership.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering (Environmental Option) and a Master of Applied Science from the NBK Mining Institute of BC (Mining Engineering) from the University of British Columbia. I am an Engineer-in-Training (EIT), currently working in the financial industry, I am always guided by engineering principals that are drilled in me which I continue to apply such as risk assessment, systems thinking, problem solving, resilience and long-term planning.

To complement my technical background, I earned a Certificate of Law from Queen's University, with a focus on Indigenous Law, Human Rights, and Workplace Law. I have also completed formal training in Leadership and Conflict Resolution through the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC), strengthening my ability to facilitate collaboration, navigate difficult conversations, and build consensus among diverse perspectives.

During the time I was completing my masters while raising twin boys, I worked in the non-profit sector supporting individuals and families experiencing some of life's most difficult challenges. I received specialized training in domestic violence response, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, trauma-informed practice, and peer support, allowing me to provide compassionate, evidence-informed support while connecting people with the resources they needed. These experiences strengthened my understanding of the social issues affecting our communities and reinforced the importance of empathy, collaboration, and early intervention.

Most recently, I supported the Centre for Family Equity as one of the project leads in developing the K–12 Education Without Racism Report. Working alongside educators, community partners, and stakeholders, I helped contribute to recommendations aimed at creating safer, more inclusive, and equitable learning environments for students. This experience reinforced my commitment to collaboration, evidence-based policy development, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn in a respectful and welcoming environment.

Professionally, I am an Advisor, helping individuals, families, and business owners make informed decisions about protecting their financial future, building wealth, and planning for retirement. My work requires careful analysis, transparent communication, and a strong commitment to acting in my clients' best interests.
