Lifelong Saanich resident Lorne DeLarge is running for Council with the Save Our Saanich team to bring practical, accountable leadership to Municipal Hall.

A former provincial government and business executive, Lorne has extensive experience managing complex operations, budgets, real estate, and leading large teams. He holds an MBA, a degree in Economics and Political Science, and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.

Lorne will focus on:

• Fiscal Discipline: Holding the line on taxes by reviewing internal spending, prioritizing core services, and ensuring value for tax dollars.

• Smart Growth: Putting neighbourhoods and residents at the centre of planning to ensure development respects the local context while enhancing green space.

• Practical Solutions: Championing transparent decision-making, reducing unnecessary vehicle congestion, and prioritizing first responders and key infrastructure.
