Biography
Cheryl Grant is running for Park Board with ABC Vancouver.
Cheryl is a business leader, community advocate, and Vancouver resident dedicated to protecting and enhancing the parks, recreation facilities, and public spaces that make Vancouver one of the world’s most livable cities.
Professionally, Cheryl works as the President of VITALITY Supplements, an award-winning Vancouver-based natural health company, Cheryl has built a respected Canadian brand recognized for innovation, quality, and supporting the health of Canadians.
Beyond business, Cheryl has earned a reputation as a thoughtful and determined community leader. She became widely known through her work with the Kitsilano Coalition, representing local residents in public hearings, media interviews, and legal proceedings concerning neighbourhood planning, public safety, and responsible community development. She also advocated for preserving the Jericho Pier, reflecting her long-standing commitment to protecting Vancouver’s cherished public spaces.
Throughout her career, Cheryl has championed children, families, education, and healthy communities. She has served as Community Relations Manager for Best Buy Canada, and served as a board member with Volunteer Canada and the Boys & Girls Clubs and was recognized by United Way of Greater Vancouver for chairing one of the most successful corporate employee contribution programs.
A graduate of the University of British Columbia with a double major in English Literature and Urban Studies, Cheryl also completed executive education in Corporate Responsibility at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
Whether walking Vancouver’s parks with her dog, Bo, spending time with family, meeting local residents, or volunteering in the community, Cheryl believes parks are where neighbourhoods come together. As a Vancouver Park Board Commissioner, she will work collaboratively with fellow commissioners, City staff, and community partners to improve parks and recreation facilities, support accessible and vibrant community centres, expand opportunities for youth and families, and ensure Vancouver’s parks remain safe, welcoming, and inspiring for generations to come.
