My goal is a safer, easier and more affordable Victoria. I'll listen to residents first, including through a Citizens’ Assembly, then set clear goals, manage competently and use public resources responsibly. I'll measure results, report back and fix what isn't working.
Through effective leadership, I will engage with residents, labour, businesses, Indigenous communities, neighbourhoods, housing and homelessness organizations, environmental groups, arts and cultural communities, accessibility advocates, service providers, public-safety stakeholders and people with direct lived experience.
I want to hear what is working, what isn’t and what practical solutions we can build together.
The goal is a citizens-first City Hall: ambitious enough to get things done, careful with the public purse, respectful of the people who deliver our services, willing to work across differences, transparent about its decisions and accountable to the people it serves.

Victoria has been home for more than 30 years. I’ve spent much of my career, business, community leader, managing complex initiatives, leading organizations and improving the systems people depend on.
My family’s roots in B.C. civic life reach back to Vancouver’s earliest years, including a seven-term alderman who became mayor. Our connection to Victoria dates to the 1870s.
Victoria has been my home for more than 30 years. All three of my children graduated from Victoria High School. This is where my family has built its life.
I have spent much of my working life in education, community service and nonprofit leadership. As Executive Director of Family Services of Greater Victoria, I led through periods of change and funding pressure, managed staff, budgets, facilities, partnerships and complex initiatives. I was also a long-term board member and 2025 Acting Director of Victoria Immigrant and Refugee Centre Society, and helped create the Victoria Social Innovation Centre.
I know what it means to be accountable for people, resources and results. As Mayor, I will bring that same discipline to City Hall: listen carefully, set clear priorities, bring people together, use resources responsibly and follow through.
And I will work with anyone who has a good idea for Victoria, regardless of whom they supported in this election.

Victoria is an extraordinary city. I’m running for Mayor because I believe City Hall can work better: clearer priorities, stronger follow-through, responsible use of public resources and better results.
