Hello and aaniin. My name is Philip Carless and I am running as an independent for the office of councillor. I have lived in Surrey for over 32 years. As a proud Canadian of mixed English and Anishinaabe descent I hope to offer a unique perspective and set of values to help guide my efforts.

I acknowledge that while I appear to lack any experince in politics I did serve as treasurer for the Vancouver Anime Convention Society for one term. Prior to that I served as secretary for the Surrey Amateur Radio Club. Also in highschool serving on Student's Council. All of this has ignited a strong desire in me to serve the public.

I am simply asking for the chance to serve once again, albeit in a greater, more public role but in something humble to begin with. Please vote for me. Thank you and meegwitch.
