Amrit Birring is running for Surrey School Board Trustee for one single purpose: to set our children up for success and consequently set Canada up for success!

This involves:

1. Raising academic standards to above average when compared with international standards.

2. Free children of any and all ideologies in schools, the biggest being SOGI 123, which has no mandate from parents.

3. Zero tolerance for vaping and drugs in schools.

Amrit is a Computer Science graduate from UBC and also holds an Electrical Engineering degree.

A father of two, Amrit is an avid runner, fitness conscious, back country camper, hunter, archer, horse rider, and a black belt in Taekwondo.

Amrit believes that an all around development of children happens via academics, sports, and arts activities.

Amrit wants to make Surrey the best school district in Canada.
