Vera LeFranc is a community-focused leader with a career spanning health care, housing, civic service, and social impact in Surrey. With a degree in Business, she has served as CEO, COO, and Executive Director of organizations delivering housing, health services, and business enterprises. First elected to Surrey City Council in 2014 under Linda Hepner, Vera was named one of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Top 10 Municipal Innovators.

She also served over five years on the Provincial Child Care Council and chairs the Network to Eliminate Violence in Relationships Board. A proud Guildford resident for more than 25 years, Vera is deeply committed to her community. Outside of work and volunteer service, she enjoys music, gardening, and travelling with her partner, Jen.
