Mandeep Nagra is a Surrey business owner and City Councillor who cut red tape for small business and helped approve Campbell Heights, creating 20,000 jobs. Surrey and Vancouver each have about 730,000 people. Vancouver has six hospitals; Surrey has one, with the province's busiest emergency department and no pediatric ICU in Fraser Health. The City owns 7.2 acres at 6965 King George Boulevard in Newton. On a Safe Surrey Coalition council I will vote to dedicate that land to a full-service Surrey General Hospital and approve every City permit within 60 days, as we did for the Cloverdale hospital.
