I am a strong believer in creating your own joy. I listen to people; I take the time to understand their needs, their experiences and what they hope to achieve — then I work to find practical solutions.

I bring both compassion and a strong, determined voice for the seniors and youth of Surrey. As a member of the Advisory Board for the Caregiver Strong Institute, I have experienced firsthand the importance of transforming ideas into tangible actions. In my new role as City Councillor, I want to continue this work — making meaningful differences for caregivers and seniors.

I am a proud cultural leader in the Afro-Caribbean community. I believe in empowering visible minorities, breaking down barriers, and creating new opportunities.
